What is the opinion of those who have used the Bob and Brad T2 Muscle gun?
A couple of months ago I suffered a Middle Aged Rock Related Injury whilst attending a gig by the superb band Massive Wagons – with an enthusiasm incompatible with my age and body weight I ended up damaging my knee. Doc said it would take 8 to 10 weeks to recover.
Still suffering some pain after this period of time I decided that I would benefit from some sort of massage therapy. A quick search on the internet led me to call a local massage parlour who quoted me what I considered a rather high price for an hour of therapy – although the lady promised that I would enjoy a happy ending. Being of a cheerful disposition anyway I didn’t feel this represented good value.
Rummaging through my girlfriends drawers by the bedside I discovered a device which delivered a pleasant if somewhat gentle massage that did actually have a seemingly beneficial effect. However this caused some consternation in the office the next day when I produced it from my briefcase and announced that I was popping down to my car for some lunchtime relief.
TI’ve been having shoulder and back pain on and off for a long time with periods of physiotherapy, acupuncture and chiropractor sessions. Thought I’d try this out and just a few days in I can really tell the difference and I’m pleasantly surprised. Usually I really suffer back pain after a days work lifting and bending and sweeping but a short session in the morning and afternoon with the gun and I have not suffered anywhere near as much as normal, in fact I actually feel pretty good. This is only a couple days of use so high hopes for long term reduction in pain in my back and shoulders. Happy customer. 4 stars because I had to look up YouTube videos on correct usage and how often to use, and needs an attachment to help reach awkward back areas by yourself. Otherwise really happy.
I purchased this percussion massager because my muscles knot up so bad after workouts, and even deep hand massages only do so much.
I am not a regular gym-goer and am going to maintain some form of fitness as I age.
After doing squats or other leg exercises my quads tighten up the next 3-4 days (this is ‘normal’ for me).
Used this after a regular set of squats for the first time, and woow HUGE difference. Only ever had to use the 1st setting, and I changed the heads to see what each did, and although I wont be using all of them, I have definitely liked 2-3 of them for different reasons.
My muscles were not as deeply sore as they usually were the next day, and continuing to use it while sore helped as well. Did not think it would work as well as it does.
This machine is also very quiet for how strong it is. There is only 1 button, read the instructions on how to use it and it becomes second nature.
4000MaH battery and I believe it. It took me several 10-15 minute sessions to be out of battery, but the unit did not feel strained, and only got hot if used past the initial 15 minutes. It has an auto-cut off time (listed in instructions) and Im assuming you should let it rest a bit to cool off between those cut offs.
Charges pretty quickly, maybe like an hour and some change from 1/4 of the charge-level lights being lit.
Comes with a lovely zip case.
Overall great value for your money. This thing feels solid, and performs VERY well. Considering what ive seen in other, uglier, and cheaper looking percussion massagers [that ALSO were MORE expensive somehow?] This was a very great buy. It feels less bulky than others ive seen in the past, is quiet, and was among some of the cheaper ones. Totally glad I went with it.
